Extracurricular Activities
Starting in 4th grade, students have the opportunity to participate in FIRST Lego League. Children learn engineering and computer programming concepts by designing, building and programming small-scale robots.
Sports
In 2018 TRA debuted the addition of middle school sports: boys basketball and girls volleyball.
Secondary students can also compete in ultimate frisbee.
House System
Upon entering 7th grade, all students will enter a TRA house. The house system is a way of connecting students with schoolmates from other grades. Houses are made up of 7-12th graders and have various competitions and activities throughout the year to create friendship, build community, and forge character. Each year we hold a kick-off retreat at Tall Timber in Lake Wenatchee.
