Join our Faculty: Be the Guide They’ll Remember
At The River Academy, we believe that knowledge without wisdom is incomplete, and wisdom without love is ineffective. We believe the best teachers are more than just lecturers—they are Trusted Guides. We’re looking for educators who are wise enough to challenge, warm enough to nurture, and grounded enough to prepare students for real life. As a member of our faculty, you won’t just transfer information; you will mentor students in how to think, not what to think, helping them discern truth and develop a lasting influence in the world.
Our mission is to form students with the competence to pursue any calling and the character to reflect Jesus in all they do. We invite you to join a team that speaks with a clear, calm, and purposeful voice—avoiding buzzwords and clichés in favor of steady, reassuring guidance. If you are passionate about combining academic excellence with deep faith formation to equip the next generation to honor God and draw people to Him, we would love to partner with you.
What its like to be part of the TRA Team
Passionate About Equipping Students to Stand Firm: We believe every child deserves to be equipped to live out their faith with wisdom and grace, even under cultural pressure. We help students navigate the real world without losing their faith.
A Natural Problem-Solver: We view obstacles as opportunities and are committed to helping families navigate the journey of a Christ-centered classical education with clarity and confidence.
Expert Advisor Who Truly Cares: We balance high academic standards with a nurturing spirit. Our "Trusted Guide" model ensures that every student is personally known, valued, and mentored.
Reflecting "Vibrant Excellence": We appreciate the timeless depth of classical tradition but bring it to life with joyful accessibility and energy. Our environment feels both grounded and alive.
A Safety Net of Support: We don’t expect perfection; we value growth. Whether you’re a veteran educator or a new teacher, you’ll find colleagues who are ready to share resources, offer a listening ear, and walk alongside you.
Serious Mission, Joyful Spirit: We take our calling seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We believe that an intellectually serious environment should also be a joyful one.
Collaboration Over Competition: We aren't a collection of individual classrooms; we are one team. We celebrate each other’s wins and step in to help when things get tough.
Grace-Filled Professionalism: We strive for excellence because our students deserve it, but we operate in a rhythm of grace that respects your time, your family, and your well-being.
